Your private writing stays in your own workspace. This notice explains this website and our support contact, and separately describes the app’s configured app integrations.

Who is responsible

WHO DEVELOP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 09096989, operates Green Witch and is responsible for personal information we process for this website, app services and support. Registered office: 124 City Road London City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. Contact: contact@mygreenwitch.app. See the official company register.

This website

This static website uses no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies, third-party fonts, embedded media or contact form. Opening a page nevertheless sends technical request information, including your IP address, requested URL, browser and connection details, to Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site. Do not put private information in a page URL.

We use this processing to provide the requested pages and protect the site against misuse, on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure website. Cloudflare also explains its processing, global infrastructure and retention in its privacy policy. This website does not request access to your app journal or inventory.

Contact and support

Contacting us is optional. An email link opens your mail app and sends nothing until you send it. If you contact us, we receive the message, your email address and any information you choose to include, through the email services involved. We use them to answer your request and investigate the problem, on the basis of our legitimate interests in providing support; purchase-related requests may also be necessary to perform a contract. We may retain information needed to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

In configured native app builds, an explicit Send action sends your message, optional reply email, an app-scoped support reference and limited technical details (app identifier, language, app/build version, operating system and available device manufacturer, model and type) through our Cloudflare support service to a private shared Discord support channel. Your journal and inventory are not attached. The support reference is a pseudonymous identifier, not proof that a message is anonymous. The form’s draft message and email are held in memory rather than saved as persistent drafts. A queued message is not yet confirmed delivery.

Ordinary QA builds disable sending; a separately configured owner-phone preview can send to the preview service. You may copy the support address without sending a message. Please omit journal exports, health details, passwords and card information that we do not need.

The app

Availability depends on the current Apple or Google store listing and your distribution channel. This notice describes the app’s configured services and does not itself confirm store availability.

There is no Green Witch user account. Journal entries, collection/inventory, chosen plants, intentions, searches, learning progress and preferences are held on your device. The app does not attach these private records to app-use events, support messages or app-owned error reports. Exporting or sharing a backup is your choice. Exports and device/operating-system backups are separate copies; they may be handled by your chosen provider and device settings.

Configured native store builds use Apple or Google and RevenueCat for purchase availability, verification and restoration. Purchase services process store transaction information and customer or installation identifiers. We do not receive payment-card details. Store billing is separate from deletion of local data.

The PostHog EU integration is off by default until a saved explicit analytics choice enables it in an eligible build; the current Settings screen offers no analytics switch. The absence of a switch does not erase an earlier saved choice. Restricted events cover general app use and purchase outcomes, with broad route names rather than plant names, search text, journal entries or record identifiers. SDK and purchase identifiers are pseudonymous and can link events; they must not be treated as fully anonymous. Eligible purchase flows may associate the analytics identifier with RevenueCat. QA analytics are disabled.

Configured native store builds can send crash/error diagnostics to Sentry EU, including technical app, version, operating-system and stack information. App-owned caught errors are normalized to avoid raw error text. The shared configuration disables screenshots, view hierarchies, console breadcrumbs, session replay, performance tracing and automatic sessions. The configured project scrubs IP addresses and removes user geographic data. Technical reports may still contain personal data. Ordinary QA monitoring is disabled.

Purchase verification and restoration are necessary to provide the paid access you request. Optional app-use analytics relies on your saved consent. Limited crash reporting serves our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable app and investigating failures; you can object by contacting us. Sentry’s current organization setting also allows it to use error messages and stack traces for product improvement, in accordance with its privacy policy. The app’s content-scrubbing safeguards still apply. This setting does not enable session replay or journal uploads.

Local reminders are optional and device-only. Permission and scheduling are controlled through the app and operating system. Green Witch does not use these reminders to upload your journal.

Retention and providers

Local records remain until you delete or replace them. Exported copies and device backups follow the destination and operating-system controls. The support service removes delivered message content after acknowledged delivery; active undelivered content expires after 72 hours, and receipt records after seven days. Short-lived keyed network digests protect the service against abuse. These limits do not delete the resulting Discord message or email.

Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve and follow up the request, handle a related complaint or dispute, and meet applicable legal duties. The relevant criteria are whether the request is resolved, whether related follow-up is still needed, and whether a legal retention or claim requirement applies. Contact us to request deletion or ask about a particular record. We do not promise that deleting local app data erases provider records or backups.

Cloudflare, Discord, email providers, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, PostHog and Sentry have separate roles and retention arrangements. EU endpoints do not guarantee that all provider access or processing stays in the EU or UK. Global infrastructure and support may involve other countries. For the public website, Cloudflare states that it uses the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension for covered US transfers, and standard contractual clauses where applicable for other transfers. Its linked policy explains the safeguards and how to request details or a copy. Cloudflare determines retention using the processing purpose, sensitivity, risk and legal requirements; we make no unverified fixed access-log retention claim. Our current PostHog free plan provides one year of event retention; deletion requests are separate from that retention window. Our current Sentry Developer plan keeps error events for 30 days. Backup copies follow separate provider expiry schedules. RevenueCat records remain as needed to verify purchases, restore access, handle billing disputes and meet applicable legal duties; request deletion through us rather than assuming that uninstalling removes them. We use data-processing agreements with RevenueCat, PostHog and Sentry. Their applicable international-transfer safeguards include the Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions as described in those agreements. Contact us for details or copies of the applicable safeguards. These arrangements do not promise that all access remains in the EU or that every provider record is erased on the same day.

Your rights

Contact contact@mygreenwitch.app to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information we hold about you. Portability applies where the legal conditions are met. We may need proportionate information to verify and locate a request; please send only what is necessary. We cannot retrieve journal data that stays solely on your device. Use the local deletion instructions for those records.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. If an earlier analytics choice exists, deleting the workspace clears that local choice and stops app analytics; contact us for a request about previously received events. No analytics control is currently shown in Settings.

We handle requests within the time required by applicable data-protection law and explain any lawful refusal or extension. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or your local data-protection authority where applicable, including the CNIL in France. You do not have to contact us first. We do not use these data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
